Alabama truck driver killed in fiery rollover crash, state troopers report

An Alabama truck driver was killed Tuesday when his tractor-trailer overturned and burst into flames, state troopers said.
The single-vehicle crash occurred at approximately 10:05 a.m. Tuesday, April 16, has claimed the life of a Boaz, Alabama, man.
Stephen A. Zmolek Jr., 40, was fatally injured when the 2015 Freightliner Cascadia tractor-trailer he was driving left the roadway, overturned, and caught fire.
Zmolek Jr. was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash occurred on Interstate 22 near the 49 mile marker, approximately 5 miles east of Carbon Hill, in Walker County.
