An Alabama woman died after the scooter on which she was riding was struck by a large SUV, Alabama state troopers said.

Haygen Kristian Taylor Lightfoot, 30, was injured Wednesday night after the scooter she was driving on U.S. 98 near mile marker 62 was struck by a Chevrolet Suburban driven by Charles Crocker.

Lightfoot was taken to a Pensacola hospital, but she died of her injuries.
