Highway collision kills 1, injures 3 others, Alabama state troopers say

A highway collision claimed the life of one person and injured three others, Alabama state troopers said.
The accident occurred on U.S. 82, approximately 5 miles west of Reform, Alabama, on Thursday night.
Otha D. Rockett, 78, of Columbus, Mississippi, was killed when his Chrysler 300 was struck by a Toyota Tundra pickup driven by Larry E. Davidson, 65, of Reform.
Troopers said Rockett was pronounced dead at the scene and Emma L. Rockett, 71, who was a passenger in the vehicle was airlifted to a hospital in Tupelo, Mississippi, for treatment.
Both Davidson and his passenger Jacob H. Davidson, 22, were also injured and transported to a hospital in Columbus, Mississippi, for treatment.
