Alabama man killed when van collides with tractor-trailer, state troopers report

An Alabama man was killed early Wednesday when his van struck a tractor-trailer, state troopers reported.
The multi-vehicle crash occurred at approximately 4:53 a.m. Wednesday, and claimed the life of a Pelham man.
Methuselah J. Kadigi, 53, was fatally injured when the 2023 Ram van that he was driving struck the 2017 Volvo tractor-trailer driven by Deschan L. Davis, 25, of Hueytown.
The Ram van was then struck by the 2006 Toyota Camry driven by Tyler B. Moore, 35, of Double Springs.
Prior to impact, the Volvo overturned across the roadway and struck two guardrails.
Kadigi was pronounced deceased at the scene. Moore was injured and transported to Cullman Regional Medical Center (CRMC) for treatment.
The crash occurred on Interstate 65 near Cullman County 436, approximately 2 miles south of Cullman, in Cullman County.
