Alabama woman killed in weekend head-on collision

An Alabama woman was killed in a weekend head-on collision, Alabama Law Enforcement Agency officials report.

Jada L. Farish, 43, of Theodore, was pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck on Bellingrath Road near Deer Creek Road in Mobile County.

The collision occurred at approximately 9:30 p.m. Sunday, about four miles south of Theodore.

Farish was driving a 2023 Ford Mustang when it collided head-on with a 2021 Toyota 4Runner driven by David T. Horne, 70, also of Theodore.

Officials say Farish was not using a seat belt at the time of the crash.

Horne was transported to a Mobile hospital for treatment.

ALEA said the crash remains under investigation.
