An Alabama was killed Friday morning when her car collided with a tractor-trailer truck, Alabama state troopers said.

The two-vehicle crash occurred at approximately 10:13 a.m. Friday,and claimed the life of a Crane Hill woman.

Kayla E. Haynes, 37, was fatally injured when the 2005 Toyota Corolla that she was driving struck a 2016 Peterbilt tractor-trailer driven by Markus W. Hutton, 51, of Pulaski, Tenn.

Hanes was pronounced deceased at the scene. The crash occurred on Interstate 65 near the 322 mile marker, within the Falkville city limits, in Morgan County.
