Physical fight turns deadly for Alabama men, exactly what led to the argument remains unknown

An Alabama man has been charged with murdering another man after the pair got into a fight which turned deadly, sheriff’s investigators say
On Thursday, Madison County Sheriff’s Office deputies received a call reporting a dead man at 1790 Capshaw Road in the Harvest community.
Upon arriving at the location, deputies found the man’s body inside the residence.
Deputies said after an investigation, the victim has been identified as Derek Franklin Walls.
He was 54 years old and a resident of Harvest, Alabama.
Detectives arrested and charged 36-year-old Kyle Hayden Lewter with Walls’ murder.
Investigators said they believe a physical altercation began between the two men, who were known to each other, which ultimately resulted in the death of Walls. Exactly how Walls was killed was not disclosed nor was the issue that led to the fight.
Lewter was taken into custody and subsequently transported to the jail facility, where he was ordered to be held without the possibility of posting a bond. This decision was made in accordance with Aniah’s Law.
