Alabama woman charged with stealing more than $73K from youth sports organizations

An Alabama woman has been arrested and charged with theft after prosecutors allege she took more than $70,000 from a youth sports organization.
Heather Ann Spier is accused of stealing $73,225 from the Huntsville Eastern League between September 2022 through February 2024.
The organization is a sports league that manages youth sports leagues in Huntsville.
