Three woman have been arrested and charged after Alabama police say the trio beat and shot a woman to death Sunday night.

Mobile police said a dispute between the four women started in the 600 block of Chin Street, shortly after 5 p.m. When police arrived, they found Khaliaka Meardry, 44, dead.

Investigators believe the four women began arguing and eventually escalated with Meardry being struck with a blunt object and then shot.

Arrested were Sierra Giles, 37, Kendra Nettles, 32, and Terrilyn Williams, 35. They’ve each been charged with murder, police said.

No additional details of the incident were immediately released.
