A 97-year-old Louisiana man who was reported missing New Year’s Eve was found dead on Thursday, officials said.

Frank Williams, 97, of New Orleans, was reported missing on Sunday.

Officials found his vehicle abandoned on Interstate 65 in Creola, Alabama, on Wednesday.

His body was found Thursday morning at the bottom of an overpass.

Investigators speculate Williams left his vehicle and walked a short distance before falling down an embankment. Investigators do not suspect foul play.
