Two people have been arrested after a deadly shooting that left one person dead and another injured, a local sheriff said.

Covington County Sheriff Blake Turman said late Sunday that a second suspect, who had been subject of a man hunt, had been arrested.

Turman said suspect Emmett Sigers was arrested Sunday and will be charged with murder and attempted murder in connection with the Saturday shooting that killed a 19-year-old Alabama man, Cammeon Franklin, and injured another.

Sigers was the second suspect to be arrested in connection to the crime.

Turman said earlier Sunday that suspect Ahmad Jzikelle Elliot-Warmack had been arrested and charged with murder, and attempted murder.

The investigation began Saturday night when Covington County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to Andalusia Health at approximately 8 p.m. after two men were brought in with gunshot wounds, Turman said.

Franklin was transported to Sacred Heart hospital in Pensacola, Florida, where he died of his injuries.

A second victim was being treated for non-life threatening injuries.
