An Alabama school music teacher was arrested Monday and charged with possessing child pornography.

Bryant Ramey, 30, of Spanish Fort, Alabama, was charged with four counts of possession of obscene materials involving children under the age of 17.

Investigators said they do not believe any of the activity took place on school property. He currently works in the Baldwin County school district.

The investigation began after an inquiry that led deputies to believe Ramey may have been in possession of the material. A search warrant of his home and his electronic devices then ensued, investigators said.
