One person was killed Thursday morning in a crash involving an 18-wheeler truck in Alabama, officials said.

Morgan County Sheriff’s Office deputies said the county coroner confirmed one person was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Alabama 67 near Shoal Creek Road.

The name of the deceased has not been immediately released. The wreck caused traffic delays on the highway for hours, deputies reported.
