A 4-year-old Alabama boy drowned Tuesday afternoon in a Mississippi lake near the Mississippi-Alabama state line.

Jackson County, Mississippi, officials say Noah Smith, 4, of Theodore, Alabama, was found after a four-hour search in Goodes Mill Lake at Presley’s Outing, a park and campground.

The search for the body began at approximately 12:37 p.m. Tuesday and his body was found approximately four hours later.

Exactly what occurred was not immediately made clear.
