Alabama police at investigating after a woman’s body was discovered in a pond.

Montgomery police said first responders were called at approximately 7:45 p.m. Thursday near Alderwood Way after someone spotted a body in a pond.

The woman’s body was recovered and investigators immediately began working the death investigation.

Few details have been released.
