An Alabama woman was killed Saturday when their car struck several trees and then a ditch, state troopers said.

Jamya S. Tate, 21, was killed in the accident that happened on Interstate 59 approximately 1 mile north of Coaling near Tuscaloosa.

Troopers said Tate was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the wreck.
