An Alabama child was hospitalized Tuesday, police said, after being burned by hot water.

Police in Huntsville, Alabama, responded to a call on Ayers Drive after receiving a report of a burned child.

The child was taken to the hospital with “serious injuries,” police said, but police did not provide detailed on what exactly occurred.
