An Alabama man died and four other people, including three children, were injured in a two-vehicle crash this week, state troopers reported.
Senior Trooper Anna Peoples said the crash occurred at approximately 5:15 p.m. on Highway 31 at the 51-mile marker, some 5 miles west of Flomaton.
Peoples said Calvin L. Johnson, 68, of Flomaton, was fatally injured when the 2004 Honda SUV he was driving collided with a 2003 Toyota pickup driving by Brian T. Grant, 46, of Atmore.
Peoples said Grant and three juvenile passengers were injured and transported to two area hospitals.
Johnson was pronounced deceased at the scene of the crash.
