An Alabama man was killed Saturday night in an industrial accident at a chicken processing plant, officials said.

The accident happened at approximately 7:05 p.m.

First responders were called to Dutch Quality at 112 Plugs Drive in Decatur, Alabama.

The injured man was taken to Decatur-Morgan Hospital. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.

OSHA is investigating the accident.
