Alabama man arrested after reportedly planting GPS device on car to stalk victim

An Alabama man has been arrested for reportedly planting a GPS device on the car of a victim he was reportedly stalking and harassing.
Brannon Roy Bray, 50, of Hartselle, was charged with Electronic Stalking 1st Degree.
According to WAFF 48 News, Bray was arrested on Thursday after allegedly placing a GPS tracking device on a victim’s car, according to the Hartselle Police Department. The arrest followed a report of harassing communications from the victim, who also suspected the suspect was tracking her movements.
Upon examining the victim’s vehicle, officers responded to the call and discovered a magnetic GPS tracking device affixed to the undercarriage. Officer Steele’s investigation revealed that the device had been used to monitor, stalk, and harass the victim.
Following his arrest by Investigator McClure, Bray was booked into the Morgan County Jail on a $2,500 bond but was released later that night after posting bond. The case remains under investigation.
