An Alabama teenage boy was killed and his mother and sister injured along with three others after an explosion destroyed a house in Louisiana on Saturday.

Deuce Barrere, 16, of Theodore, Alabama, along with his mother and sister, Katherine and Brooklyn, were injured Saturday in Ragley, Louisiana, a family friend confirmed in a Go Fund Me setup for the family’s benefit.

The cause of the explosion remained under investigation Monday, Louisiana State Fire Marshall Bryan J. Adams said. Firefighters were called to the burning remains of the residence.
