An Alabama woman was killed early Monday when her SUV struck multiple trees, state troopers reported.

The single-vehicle crash occurred at approximately 1:27 a.m. Monday, and claimed the life of a Florence woman.

Abigail K. Bailey, 45, was fatally injured when the 2003 Nissan Pathfinder she was driving left the roadway and struck multiple trees.

Bailey was partially ejected and pronounced deceased at the scene.

The crash occurred on Alabama 13 near the 262 mile marker, approximately two miles north of Natural Bridge, in Winston County.
