An Alabama teen at a Georgia youth development center has died after collapsing on one of the center’s basketball courts.

WFXG in Augusta, Georgia, reports that Ozell Burch, 17, of Phenix City, died after he collapsed while playing basketball at the Augusta Youth Development Center.

Burch was transported by ambulance an Augusta hospital, where he later died.

Officials say no foul play is suspected in the case, and an autopsy has been scheduled.

The Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice uses youth development centers to provide secure care, supervision and treatment services to youth committed to DJJ custody.
