Alabama man killed when pickup truck strikes tree and flips over, state police say

An Alabama man was killed this weekend when his pickup truck left the road, struck a tree and flipped over, state police said.
The single-vehicle crash occurred at approximately 8:05 p.m. Saturday, and claimed the life of Boaz, Alabama, man.
Briley J. Ramey, 23, was fatally injured when the 2013 Chevrolet Silverado that he was driving left the roadway, struck a tree and overturned.
Ramey was not using a seat belt at the time of crash, was ejected and pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash occurred on Forrest Home Road near Alabama 168, approximately two miles west of Boaz, in Marshall County.
