An Alabama high school football coach was arrested Thursday after police say he exchanged obscene photographs with a male student, police said.
Arab police said Lee Ozmint was charged with being a school employee and distributing or soliciting obscene material to or from a student. The charge is a misdemeanor.
Ozmint was released on bond.
The Arab City School district said they were aware of “unprofessional and inappropriate communications” between a student and teacher. The school district said it would not identified the teacher or the student.
Ozmint is on administrative leave and is barred from school campuses, the district said.
