Alabama Skies: More stormy weather possible Thursday

The rough weather of the past couple of days is finally moving out of the state, leaving damage and flooding in some places.
Thursday will begin with rain and storms in parts of Alabama, but we’ll all clear out with sunshine returning Friday. We’ll also have very windy conditions with some places getting wind gusts up to 40 miles per hour.
The weekend is going to be sunny and warm.
North Alabama
Showers are likely most of the day with a storm or two possible. Wind gusts up to 40 miles per hour possible with a high of 63. Partly cloudy Thursday night with a low of 48.
Central Alabama
Showers likely most of the day with a storm possible in the morning. Wind gusts up to 40 miles per hour. High of 64. Mostly cloudy Thursday night, becoming clear by early morning. Low of 48.
South Alabama
A chance of showers with mostly cloudy skies. High of 68 with wind gusts up to 40 miles per hour. Mostly cloudy overnight, becoming clear. Low of 48.
Gulf Coast
A mix of sun and clouds with a high of 71. Wind gusts up to 25 miles per hour. Clear Thursday night with a low of 50.
