One person is dead after an industrial accident, according to Alabama emergency officials.

WAFF in Hunstville reports that the man died after several pieces of granite reportedly fell on him.

Huntsville Emergency Medical Services officials said that first responders were dispatched to South Memorial Parkway at approximately 10:30 a.m.

According to reports, several emergency services were on the scene at noon.

The identity of the victim has not been released.
