An Alabama man was killed Saturday night when the four-wheeler he was operating on a public road was struck by a vehicle, a coroner’s office reported.
Jefferson County Chief Deputy Coroner Bill Yates identified the man as Jarrett Jamar Brooks, 27, of Birmingham.
Brooks was driving the ATV in the 2400 block of Avenue G in Ensley when he collided with a motorist.
He was transported to UAB Hospital for treatment, but was pronounced dead at 8:32 p.m. Saturday, Yates said.
