Alabama teenage girl killed in head-on collision on her 17th birthday

An Alabama teen was killed Wednesday, her 17th birthday, in a head-on collision, authorities said Thursday.
Dakota Elizabeth Graves, 17, of Morris, Alabama, was killed in a two-vehicle wreck on Warrior Jasper Road in Warrior, Alabama, at approximately 12:15 p.m. Wednesday.
Graves was a passenger in a pick-up truck involved in a head-on collision with another vehicle.
Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office deputies are investigating the wreck.
Graves was a junior at Mortimer High School. Two adult women in the truck with Graves were transported to a hospital for treatment. One of the people in the other vehicle was also treated for injuries. Authorities said none of the other people who were injured received life-threatening injuries.
