State and federal investigators continue to seek information on who detonated an explosive device over the weekend outside Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall’s office.

The FBI had set up a website to help the public submit tips or other information to investigators.

The site is located at fbi.gov/alabamaagexplosion

Investigators said the explosive device was detonated at approximately 3:42 a.m. Saturday.

Alabama state investigators were called Monday morning after a suspicious package was found. Investigators later determined that the package was the device that was detonated.

No one was injured in the explosion and additional details about the type of device this was were not immediately released.
