Alabama teen broke into school, stole bus for joy ride, police say

An Alabama 16-year-old was arrested this month after police say the teen broke into an elementary school, returned two days later and stole a school bus, taking it on a joy ride, police said Monday.
Police in Priceville, Alabama, said the 16-year-old was recorded on school security cameras on February 16. Police the teen was seen walking through the school trying to break into locked doors with a screwdriver.
Police said two days later on February 18 the juvenile came back to the school, broke into a school bus and managed to get its engine started and drove around the parking lot.
The teen was not identified by police.
The teen was charged with burglary, third-degree, along with unauthorized use of a vehicle.
