Alabama Skies: Plenty more rainy weather, strong winds in the forecast

After a wet, windy night across Alabama, there is plenty more rain on the way for most of us.
We have a very slight chance of a few thunderstorms, mainly in southern Alabama, but we’re not expecting anything too bad this time. Our main concerns are flash flooding and strong, damaging wind gusts.
North Alabama
Showers, mainly later in the morning and the afternoon. High of 46 with wind gusts up to 35 miles per hour. Sunday night, more showers with a low of 40.
Central Alabama
Showers with a high of 47. More showers in the evening, ending before midnight. Low of 41.
South Alabama
Showers with a high of 50. Breezy with wind gusts up to 30 miles per hour. Sunday night, more showers. Low of 42.
Gulf Coast
Showers with a high of 64. A couple of thunderstorms are possible in the morning. Wind gusts up to 40 miles per hour are possible. Sunday night, mostly cloudy with a slight chance of a shower. Low of 44.
