An 18-hour search for a missing Alabama hunter ended with smiles, after searchers located the man who was located in good condition.

Colbert County Sheriff’s Office deputies said the hunter was reported missing at approximately 7:30 p.m. Sunday in New Bethel.

Several agencies, including the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, assisted in the search.

The hunter was located in good condition on Monday and checked out by emergency medical personnel as a precaution.
