Two people killed on historic bridge; they were struck while pushing a stalled vehicle out of roadway, police say

Two Alabama women were killed on an historic Alabama bridge Sunday.
According to the Selma Police Department, the deaths resulted from an accident that took place around 12:50 a.m. Sunday morning on the Edmund Pettus Bridge.
Natasha Blevins Hall, 45 and Ashley Lewis, 32, both Selma residents, were pushing a stalled vehicle on the bridge when another vehicle struck them.
Hall was pronounced dead on the scene. Lewis died at UAB Hospital in Birmingham.
