An Alabama father and mother have been charged after their 2-year-old child tested positive for cocaine, police said, after someone found the naked child left alone outside an apartment.

Daphne police said the child was found near the front door of an apartment on County Road 64 in Daphne by another resident of the apartment and called first responders.

The child was taken by EMS to a local hospital where the toddler tested positive for cocaine.

Parents Hannah Straszheim and Tyler Still, were arrested and charged with felony chemical endangerment of a child, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Inside the parents’ apartments, police investigators said they found more than 100 oxycontin pills, cocaine, drug paraphernalia and three pistols.

State child welfare will assist with the child’s care.
