An Alabama woman has been charged with murder after police say they found a dead after being shot multiple times.

Police were called just after 10 p.m. Monday to an address in Anniston, Alabama, where a report of a shooting had occurred.

Upon arrival, police found Jonathan Walter Golson, 39, deceased from multiple gunshot wounds.

Weaver police located a possible suspect and after an investigation, Anniston police charged Misty Lashea Hardy, 34, of Weaver, Alabama, with murder.

The circumstances that led to the shooting were not immediately released.
