An Alabama man has been arrested after police say he shot two people at a funeral home.

The shooting happened during a funeral Monday morning at the Cullman Funeral Home in Cullman, Alabama.

Police said the suspect, Orie Shannon McDearmond, 33, of Cullman, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and attempted murder. He was being held Monday afternoon without bond.
