An Alabama man has been arrested and charged with multiple crimes after a former girlfriend said he broke into her house while she was sleeping and then physically and sexually abused her.

Kendrick Rogers, 22, of Prattville, was arrested Wednesday and charged with sexual torture, second- and third-degree domestic violence, domestic violence – strangulation and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was being held in the Elmore County Jail without bond.

Police said Rogers, entered a residence in Millbrook while the occupant was sleeping, then proceeded to sexually and physically assault the woman.
