An Alabama man was charged Friday with the murder of a 5-month-old boy left in his care.

Thomas Anthony Glenn, 28, of Trafford, Alabama, was charged by Blount County authorities after the Wednesday death of 5-month-old Isaiah Noel.

Police say Noel died of brain trauma after he was left in Glenn’s care. Glenn was reportedly dating the child’s mother.

Glenn was charged with felony murder and aggravated child abuse.

Jail records show Glenn was booked into the Blount County Jail where he was being held without bond.
