Alabama’s “national championship” game on Saturday may ratchet up even more if the most powerful man in the country decides to attend.
Reports surfaced Monday from several media outlets that President Donald Trump plans to attend Saturday afternoon’s game in Tuscaloosa.
No. 1 ranked LSU is facing the No. 2 Crimson Tide in what has been dubbed a “national championship” match-up, but the already high degree of hype will go higher if the reports and true and Trump attends.
A Sports Illustrated affilated site that covers Alabama, Bama Central, reported the pending Trump visit and then CNN reported it later.
Monday afternoon, USA Today cited a White House source that reportedly confirmed that Trump planned to be at the game.
The real question is: Which team is he going to root for since both Alabama and Louisiana have been highly supportive of Trump?
