Rescue crews looking for Alabama diver missing off of Florida coast

Emergency crews are searching for an Alabama woman who went missing the Gulf of Mexico near Destin, Florida, Sunday morning.
Rescuers from the U.S. Coast Guard, the Walton County Sheriff’s Office and the Florida Fish and Wildlife Department have been searching for 34-year-old Marie Kass of Madison, Alabama. Kass was traveling on a 26-foot catamaran with her family and entered the water in her dive gear, according to the Walton County, Florida, Sheriff’s Office. The Sheriff’s Office received a call at 11:16 a.m. when she did not resurface.
Kass was last seen wearing a black wet suit and diving gear, the Coast Guard said.
Sunday night Coast Guard crews continued to search for Kass by boat and by aircraft.
Rescuers searched for her at a location about three miles south of Grayton Beach.
