Alabama brothers killed in early morning head-on collision

A head-on crash early Thursday in Covington County claimed the lives of two brothers.
The accident occurred about 4:40 a.m. on U.S. 29 near mile marker 26, according to the Alabama Department of Law Enforcement.
Troopers said a Dominic Latrell Etheridge, 20, of Ozark was driving a 2001 Dodge Dakota that crossed the centerline of the roadway and collided with a 2008 Kenworth W900L.
His brother, Steven Etheridge Jr., 26, was a passenger in the Dodge and also was killed.
The driver of the commercial motor vehicle was transported to an area hospital for non-life-threatening injuries
Nothing further is available as ALEA State Troopers continue to investigate.
