Alabama man killed when commercial truck flips over, striking trees and utility pole guy wire, state troopers say

An Alabama man was killed Sunday when the commercial debris removal truck flipped over, striking trees and a utility pole guy wire, state troopers said.
The single-vehicle crash occurred at approximately 4:15 p.m. Sunday, and claimed the life of a Hanceville, Alabama, man.
Ronald L. Knott, 70, was fatally injured when the 2007 Sterling LT9513 debris removal truck he was driving left the roadway, overturned, struck several trees and a utility pole guy wire.
Knott was not using a seat belt at the time of crash and was pronounced deceased at the scene. The crash occurred on Ruth Mountain Road near Valley Cruise Lane, approximately eight miles north of Joppa, in Morgan County.
