Woman pursued by police killed when pickup truck strikes culvert, then tree, Alabama state troopers say

An Alabama woman running from police was killed Friday after her pickup truck struck a culvert and then a tree, state troopers said.
The single-vehicle crash occurred at approximately 1 p.m. Friday, and claimed the life of a Boaz, Alabama, woman.
Macey E. Justice, 24, was critically injured when the 1995 Ford Ranger she was driving left the roadway, struck a culvert, and then a tree, state troopers said.
Justice, who was being pursued by an officer of the Albertville Police Department at the time of the crash, was also not using a seat belt. Justice was transported to Huntsville Hospital where she succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced deceased.
The crash occurred on Welcome Home Road, approximately 10 miles west of Albertville, in Marshall County.
