The vehicle of a missing Alabama mother of four was found increasing the urgency in the search for her, police say.

The vehicle of Quanisha Davis was located in Dadeville, according to Alexander City Police Department Sgt. Drew Machen.

Davis, 30, of Alexander City, was last seen by her mother May 16. The Alexander City Police Department Detective Division is actively seeking information about Davis’ whereabouts, and her family is desperate for help.

“This is a cry for help,” said family member Asia Traylor, who said she and other family members have been searching for Davis for days.

According to Traylor, Davis was driving a 2006 white Ford Explorer.

ACPD Det. Christopher Graham said Wednesday morning information was limited as the investigation was ongoing.

Traylor said Davis’ family started to worry when the mother of four missed an awards ceremony May 19 at one of her children’s schools and didn’t show up for her daughter’s birthday party May 21.

“The kids sent her a video from their awards day and got no response,” Traylor said.

She said that’s when the family knew something wasn’t right.

“Like really, really wrong,” Traylor said. “She never missed a birthday or a holiday. She usually showed up with cupcakes in her car.”

Traylor described Davis as bubbly and the life of the party; she said Davis was easy to get along with and “never met a stranger.”
