A man suspected of rape and sodomy in Alabama was captured Monday in Mississippi, officials said.

The U.S. Marshals Service had requested the public’s help to located fugitive Harold Green, 40, who is accused of rape and sodomy in Sumter County, Alabama.

An anonymous tip led to Green’s arrest, officials with the Central CrimeStoppers of Alabama said.

Green was located and apprehended Monday by law enforcement in Kemper County, Mississippi. Green is currently in the process of being extradited to Sumter County, Alabama.

CrimeStoppers will be paying a cash reward to the brave anonymous tipster who provided information that was crucial in locating Green.
