Alabama Skies: Nice Friday, but rain could dampen the eclipse Monday
Published 8:49 pm Thursday, April 4, 2024
Although we’re not in the path of totality for the eclipse Monday, there are still some places in Alabama that could have a nice cosmic show, if the clouds cooperate. With current forecast and model trends, that’s a big “if.”
Right now, we’re looking for a mixture of clouds and sun across the state Monday. It just depends on when storms move into the region.
We’ll have several chances of storms next week. There could be a potential for severe weather, but we’ll keep a watch for any threats and timing.
In the meantime, our weather Friday and Saturday is going to be great!
