A strong front is moving through and the chance for thunderstorms will hang around, ending early in the north and later in the day towards the Gulf Coast. A few storms could be strong to severe, especially in the morning.

Once we get this system out of the way, our weather improves immediately. Some of us will have some sunshine later Tuesday. Temperatures will cool a few degrees for a couple of days, then begin warming. Right now, it looks like Easter will be sunny and warm with some of us going into the 80s.

North Alabama

Showers and storms likely in the morning. A strong to severe storm is possible. Gradually clearing in the afternoon. High of 77. Mostly clear Tuesday night with a low of 44.

Central Alabama

Showers and storms in the morning. A storm or two could be severe. High of 72. Becoming clear overnight with a low of 48.

South Alabama

Showers and storms in the morning. Some of the storms could be severe. High of 72. Tuesday night, clear with a low of 50.

Gulf Coast

Showers are likely with a few storms possible in the morning, then a chance of showers and storms in the afternoon. A storm or two could be severe, especially in the morning. High of 75. Becoming mostly clear overnight Low of 53.
