Alabama Skies: Forget cookies and milk. Santa’s going to need an umbrella and mud boots for the weather Christmas Eve

The forecast for Christmas Eve is coming into focus, and it’s not looking like it will be the nicest holiday we’ve had.
Details can and will change, but it’s looking like it’s going to be quite soggy Christmas Eve, especially the farther south in the state one is located. It’s also going to be warm with temperatures in the 60s. We have almost a zero percent chance of a white Christmas this year.
In the meantime, Tuesday will be quite cool with lower temperatures and gusty breezes. Although it won’t be as cold as Monday night, it’s still going to be cold Tuesday night. Be sure to check on people, pets, plans, and pipes.
