Alabama Skies: Clearing today before next round of severe weather potential

We’re finally going to dry out a little today, but it won’t last long as we’ll have our next chance for severe storms across parts of the state Tuesday night. Clouds remain in some areas this morning, but most of us will enjoy brilliant sunshine by this evening. Temperatures remain seasonable today and tonight before warming up with some thicker humidity tomorrow in advance of the storm system.
North Alabama
Partly cloudy today with a cool high of 47. Mostly clear tonight with a low around 29. Winds becoming calm overnight.
Central Alabama
Mostly sunny with a breezy high of 51. Clear tonight with a low near 31. Winds calming overnight.
South Alabama
Mostly cloudy in the morning, then becoming sunny with a high of 55. Wind gusts up to 20 miles per hour. Clear tonight with a low around the freezing mark.
Gulf Coast
Becoming sunny with a high of 59 with winds gusting up to 20 miles per hour. Clear tonight with a low of 37.
